The new version of my Active Directory querying tool, AD Info, adds the ability to query several Exchange Server related attributes (user’s SMTP addresses etc) as well as several other requested attributes and features

You can download the new version of the Free Edition here: http://www.cjwdev.co.uk/Software/ADReportingTool/Info.html

If you are using the Standard Edition of AD Info then just go to Help –> Check For Updates and the new version will be downloaded.

Here is a brief summary of the main new features in this version:

Exchange Attributes
Query exchange related attributes such as; SMTP Addresses, Mailbox Alias, Hidden From GAL, Mailbox Store Name, Size Limits, and more
Telephone Attributes and Address Attributes
Attributes for all of the information that can be found on the Telephones tab of a user account’s properties in AD Users and Computers, as well as all of the information on the Address tab
Misc Attributes
The following attributes are also included: Password Not Required, Require Smartcard For Interactive Logon, Operating System Version Number and Build Number, Has Photo (checks to see if there is data in the thumbnailPhoto attribute), Store Password Using Reversible Encryption, and the Employee ID attribute
General Improvements
More detailed diagnostic logging, better handling of certain error situations, options to disable group membership caching and/or output results directly to CSV file to work around memory usage issues when working with extremely large numbers of results, improved handling of special characters in CSV export, and minor GUI improvements.

If you would like to see what you can expect from future versions of AD Info (along with estimated release dates), please take a look at this page: http://www.cjwdev.co.uk/Software/ADReportingTool/InThePipeline.html

Thanks

Chris
