AD Info Free Edition 1.5 Released

July 21, 2011 — 7 Comments

As mentioned in a previous blog post, version 1.5 of the standard edition of AD Info was released a few days ago – well now version 1.5 of the free edition is also available for download.

See this post for details on what is included in this new version, and download the free edition from here:

I have also released a minor update for the standard edition as well (so it is now version 1.5.1) that fixes a small bug in the export results routine.

Let me know if you have any feedback

Someone just showed me this tool today. It is awesome thanks so much. While the free tool does probably everything I need.

I am going to push to get my manager to buy the full version just to support your efforts.

Hi, I just discovered this tool. Looks like what we have been looking for. However, while it shows disabled account it does not show expired accounts. Expired accounts show as enabled. Anyway to fix this?

I’m amazed no one else has ever noticed that, but it seems you are correct 🙂 I will be completely re-writing it from scratch soon though so I’ll make sure this is taken into account in the new version, thanks for pointing it out
EDIT: Oh actually sorry I got confused, the email you sent me was titled “AD Tidy” so I thought you were talking about that not AD Info. Can you confirm which one you meant?

Chris, I think AdInfo is a very useful tool, so I’ve been mentioning it to my colleagues, I’m always happy to spread the word when I see something helpful.

In fact, there’s an ongoing discussion on good Active Directory Reporting Tools on one of the community forums I participate in, and I’ve mentioned your tool on it.

Just wanted to let you know. Keep the good stuff coming!
